268 Nigerians who were believed to have been stranded in China have arrived Abuja.

The set of Nigerians arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport on Saturday evening, May 30. 

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, identified as Geoffery Onyeama, the 268 Nigerians who were evacuated from China will be going into the mandatory 14 days quarantine as stipulated by the Federal government.

”268 Stranded Nigerians in China safely arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, 30th May 2020. All of them will go on the 14 days quarantine stipulated by @NCDCgov and @Fmohnigeria.” the Minister tweeted

Recall that Smnaija reported that fifteen Chinese doctors arrived Nigeria after they landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The fifteen Chinese doctors came to Nigeria with the sole aim to support the Federal Government of Nigeria and her medical team.  The support is pushed towards the battle against the global coronavirus pandemic.

The Chinese medical personnel arrive with a few medical support supplies, the aircraft was operated by Air peace.

According to reports, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria; Dr Zhou Pingjian receive the health practitioners. As well as top senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and others.
