Popular Nigerian Afrobeats and dancehall singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu known by his stage name Burna Boy, continues to thrive in the music industry especially this year 2020.

Right now, his latest album, Twice As Tall has secured the Number 1 spot on the most-streamed African album on Spotify in 2020 with over 64 million streams to its credit. The rating is for albums that were released in 2020.

Recall that Burna dropped the album four months ago much and it got lots of positive reviews. In the second place on the chat of most-streamed African music on Spotify for the year is Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’, while songstress, Tiwa Savage’s Celia comes third.

Also recall that the much-celebrated album, “Twice as Tall” got Burna Boy a second nomination into the Grammy Award.

The Twice As Tall project was executive produced by American rapper and businessman, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as well as Bose Ogulu, Burna’s mum.
